Our Approach
to Care
Our fatherhood engagement is centered on connection. We bring fathers together to learn through shared experiences, network, and receive direct access to resources and opportunities that support personal growth and family stability.

Programs and Events
Fatherhood Conversations
A casual monthly meeting for fathers to connect, exchange ideas, and gain practical tools that support everyday parenting and leadership at home.
Held every third Thursday of the month from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm at Hunt Street Station and various locations.

March Dadness
A high-energy fatherhood event during the NCAA tournament season- built around our love for college basketball, conversation, and celebration of fatherhood, with direct access to community resources. Held annually in the month of March at the Ford Resource and Engagement Center.

Fatherhood Forum
Saturday, June 20th
10:00 am – 4:30 pm
Greater Grace Temple | Detroit, Michigan
A large-scale community gathering that brings fathers and community partners together to share resources, wisdom, and build connections.
The Fatherhood Forum brings fathers, father figures, and families together for a day of connection, conversation, and support. Centered on the theme Building the Foundation, this event recognizes the role fathers play in creating strength, stability, and direction for their children and families.

How to Get Involved
Connect with us to get involved! We look forward to seeing you at our next event!
Why it Matters
Research consistently shows that children benefit when fathers are actively involved in their lives. A dad’s engagement is linked to stronger emotional development, improved behavior, and better academic outcomes for children.
By supporting fathers, we strengthen families and communities as a whole.
