Take the virtual tour

Join us for an inspiring, life-changing journey. Experience stories of courage, resilience and triumph against all odds. Experience a glimmer of what it’s like to be a child in foster care, the healing powers of a magic wishing tree, and the transformation that happens when a child finally gets the treatment and support they need to thrive. Discover how you can help us heal our children, empower their future and rebuild our city.

Each stop along the tour showcases how we help children and families get a healthy new start on life.
Learn about our:

  • Early childhood development programs
  • Therapy and support for those with mental health and behavioral disorders
  • Healing the hurt programs for those who have been abused, neglected, or experienced loss
  • Foster care, adoption, and independent living programs

About the virtual tour

The virtual tour is a one-hour engaging and interactive experience via Zoom web-conferencing. To get the most out of your tour experience, we encourage you join through a device with video and audio capabilities, preferably a laptop or other computer, rather than a smartphone. However, all are welcome and we will do our best to accommodate you and your technology. Check out our guide to Virtual Tour Best Practices for more information on how to join the virtual meeting. If you would like additional technical assistance, please reach out to Victoria Briceno-Mejia at 313.324.8334 or tours@thechildrenscenter.com.

Help us spread the word

You will not be asked for a financial contribution on the tour. We simply ask you to invite others to Take the Virtual Tour.
