Beth MartzSenior Director of Philanthropy Impact and Operations

    Beth is a seasoned philanthropy professional who has spent more than 25 years in various philanthropy roles ranging from annual giving and grant writing to major gifts. She found her passion in philanthropy operations in 2008.

    Her mission is to propel fundraising results through cross-functional collaboration, prospect development, CRM user engagement, data analytics, and gift management.

    Beth believes philanthropy operations that take ownership of data, CRM utilization, and process optimization are integral to running a successful fundraising program. Throughout her career Beth attributes the utilization of these principles to her success in philanthropy, seeing an average 15-33% increase in productivity and similar, simultaneous increases in revenue and donor contributions.

    In her current position as Senior Director of Philanthropy Impact and Operations at The Children’s Center, Beth holds responsibility for leading the operation that stewards $4 Million dollars in philanthropic contributions. In this capacity, Beth provides direct oversight for philanthropy events and logistics, donor communications, and donor services. Additionally, Beth is responsible for ensuring the implementation of an effective, metrics-based system for philanthropy operations that prioritizes innovation and philanthropy best practices to support increased efficiency and meaningful outcomes for Philanthropy that align with the agency’s Mission and overall business objectives.

    Beth earned her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Michigan State University and her master’s degree in social work from Virginia Commonwealth University.
