Everybody enjoys a night at the ballpark. Thanks to you, and support from the Ralph C. Wilson Jr. foundation, 40 participants in our Mighty Men program were able to take their children and grandchildren for a game at Comerica Park — FREE.

Our Mighty Men events are very special to our children. For some families it’s not always easy for Dad to attend the events, or the family is led by a single mother. That’s why we have dedicated male volunteers who step in and bond with our children who’s dads can’t be there. We are so grateful for these positive male role models who dedicate their time to our children and families.

The Tigers game was so meaningful to all who attended, here’s what one grandfather had to say:

“One of the many reasons I enjoy doing things with The Children’s Center is that you allow my granddaughter and I to enjoy luxurious events we would not otherwise attend. Even if we could afford it, we would not be able to spend the money on these types of outings.” — TCC Grandfather
