Honoring Extraordinary Service at the Lisa V. Ford Heart & Soul Luncheon
We believe volunteers make the world go ‘round. And we couldn’t be more grateful for the ones who lend their time and talent to us.
One important way we say “thanks” is through The Lisa V. Ford Heart & Soul Award Luncheon, presented by Ford Motor Company. This year, the event will be held on June 20, and we’ll be honoring more than 100 volunteers.
A Celebration of Service
Each year, The Lisa V. Ford Heart & Soul Award Luncheon recognizes volunteers who have completed 20 or more hours of service with The Children’s Center. We also present special awards to individuals and groups who have made outstanding contributions to our center.
The “Lisa V. Ford Heart & Soul Award” is presented to an individual who has lent extraordinary talent, leadership, or service to The Children’s Center.
The “Community Service Award” is given to a community/civic organization that demonstrates exceptional organizational initiative, participation, and commitment to the center through volunteerism and service.
The “Corporate Service Award” recognizes a corporation or business that exemplifies a strong commitment through employee volunteer efforts and partnership.
