Every month, we highlight the amazing donations and volunteer work of our incredible donors. This month, we’re turning the spotlight to Girl Scout Troop 71357, who went above and beyond to help us stock up our new family literacy center.

The troop had the goal of amassing 800 book donations from two schools. After two months of collections, these young girls not only hit their mark, they doubled it with more than 1,700 books for our kids and families!

The books reflect a wide range of reading levels, from infant to young adult, perfect for our variety of clients. What’s more, the girls packed up all of the books, sorted the titles, and helped us place them on shelves for our children to enjoy.

We are so thankful that these girls are passing on their love of reading and learning the joy of giving back to others. Thank you, Troop 71357!
