Whether you’re turning 8 or 80, pledging your birthday is an opportunity to make a lasting impact and help children and families shape their own futures! When you party with a purpose, you give the gift of hope.
Ready to pledge your birthday?
It only takes a few minutes and six easy steps to create your own fundraiser. You can even add fun photos or videos to your fundraiser page!
Here’s how to get started:
Login to your Facebook account
On a computer:
- Click “What’s on your mind?” to create a new post
- In the bottom panel “Add to your post” click the three dots on the right for more options
- Select “Raise Money” with the pink coin with a heart icon
- Search and select Children’s Center of Wayne County
- Add a message above on how this year you are “partying with a purpose” or share a little bit about your connection to us
- Click Post
On a mobile device
- Click “What’s on your mind?” to create a new post
- In the post options menu at the bottom swipe up or scroll for the “Raise Money” Option – Look for a pink coin with a heart icon
- Search and select Children’s Center of Wayne County
- Add a message above on how this year you are “partying with a purpose” or share a little bit about your connection to us
- Click Post
Invite people on your friends list and engage with them! Share often on your timeline—The more you post, the more people will see your fundraiser!
After your fundraiser, post an update and say THANK YOU to all your supporters! They donated to The Children’s Center because of YOU!
