Faces of Trauma: A Community Perspective

Trauma affects each person in a different way, and often when one member of a family experiences it, the whole family is affected. Faces of Trauma is
an event that explores the impact of trauma, and how individuals, families, and communities cope with it. Light refreshments will be provided.

Attendees will have the opportunity to

  • Hear from panelists representing Kim Worthy’s office, the Fatherhood Initiative, Consumer Advisory Council and The Children’s Centers
    Child Welfare department
  • Engage in a group art project that will reflect community connectedness and resiliency

This program is recommended for adults and children ages 13 and up. Childcare available for children who are potty-trained. Spanish, Arabic and ASL translations available upon request only.
