Ways to Give

A bequest is simply a gift made through your will or trust and is one of the easiest ways to include The Children’s Center in your estate plan.

Your gift can be a specific dollar amount or a percentage of your estate.

Example wording: “I give $100,000 to The Children’s Center of Wayne County to support children and families in need.”

Support children and families through retirement plans, life insurance policies, or annuities by naming The Children’s Center as a beneficiary.

This is an easy way to give, avoids probate court, and does not require updating your will.

If you’re 70 ½ or older, you can make a tax-free gift directly from your IRA through a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD).

This allows you to support children and families while maximizing your impact and minimizing taxes.

Why Your Legacy Matters

A planned gift can transform a child’s life. Your foresight provides:

Long-term access to vital mental and behavioral health services
Stability for families in crisis
Opportunities for children to thrive at home, in school, and in their communities

Your gift today becomes hope for tomorrow.
