🌟 Shining Star Alert: Pam Barnett! 🌟
Pam consistently brings a can-do attitude and strong dedication to her work. During our COA Accreditation review, she confidently stepped into unfamiliar areas and helped ensure TCC’s high standards were reflected in the quality of our work.
Her curiosity and problem-solving mindset continue to strengthen our agency, as she works to support data-driven decisions and help leadership better understand complex processes that move our mission forward.
Even while balancing multiple projects and deadlines, Pam remains a positive, professional, and collaborative team member who inspires those around her to stay curious and engaged.
Thank you, Pam, for being a true Shining Star! 💙✨
Our Readers and Creators Girls Edition was all about curiosity, confidence, and fun 💫
The girls read The Amazing Power of Girls: Meet the Universe`s Most Powerful and Invisible Forces! by Maria Marianayagam, a STEM-focused story that connects science concepts like gravity, magnetism, and friction to the everyday strength of girls.
After the story, they jumped into a hands-on STEM activity to bring those ideas to life and explore science in action.
Moments like these at The Children’s Center help kids see their own power, creativity, and potential 🤍
A huge thank you to GE Aerospace for rolling up your sleeves and spending the day with us at The Children’s Center!
Your team jumped right in to help with spring cleaning across our campus, from raking and shoveling outdoors to adding fresh paint to our rock garden and playground path. Every task, big and small, helped make our spaces brighter, cleaner, and more welcoming for the children and families we serve at The Children’s Center.
We are so grateful for your hard work and heart for service. Our campus truly feels better because of you 🤍
A huge thank you to Dykema for spending time with us at our Open Hub!
Your team showed up in such a meaningful way, helping with crafts, serving food, and supporting behind the scenes in our boutique to help everything run smoothly for our children and families.
We are so grateful for your time, energy, and generosity in creating moments of joy and connection in our space. Partnerships like this make a real difference for the children and families we serve every day at The Children’s Center.

A beautiful day filled with support, essentials for new parents, and a community showing up in such a meaningful way.
Grateful for everyone who helped make this possible and for the families we were able to celebrate.
This Monthly Giving Awareness Week, we’re celebrating our Believers — the dedicated supporters who continue showing up for children and families month after month. 💙
Because of our Believers, children at The Children’s Center have ongoing access to critical mental health care, support, and hope throughout the year. Your compassion and commitment help create brighter futures for the kiddos we serve every single day.
Thank you for believing in every child’s potential and for being such an important part of our community.
Part 3: A Morning of Voices and Connection
From meaningful conversations to powerful stories and thoughtful details throughout the space, this year’s Power of Possibilities Breakfast was centered on one truth: every voice matters.
Every part of the morning reflected our mission to listen, uplift, and support children and families across our community.
Thank you to everyone who attended, supported, and helped bring this morning to life. Together, we are creating space for the Voices of Tomorrow to be heard today. 🌟
If you believe in this mission, we invite you to join us in making a lasting impact. Visit thechildrenscenter.com to support our work.
A standing ovation for the brave voices who shared their stories Tuesday morning. 👏💛
We were honored to hear directly from the young people and families at the heart of our mission.
Their stories reflected strength, resilience, and hope. Voices that remind us why listening matters.
From lived experiences to journeys of healing and growth, each speaker shared what it means to be seen, supported, and heard.
Their courage brought this year’s theme to life: when children are heard, communities change. 🌱
We are deeply grateful to those who shared their stories with us today. Thank you for trusting us with your voice.
POP Part 1: Networking
We love this community we get to be part of.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for coffee, conversation, and connection as we opened the morning for this year’s Power of Possibilities Breakfast.
Before the program began, we gathered in the spirit of Voices of Tomorrow, knowing that every connection made here helps uplift the voices of the children and families we serve. 🌟💙
Thank you to @Ford for serving as the Presenting Sponsor of our 2026 Power of Possibilities Breakfast! 💙
Your generous support helped make this year’s event possible—and more importantly, helped elevate the voices of the children and families we serve every day.
Because of partners like Ford, more children and families in our community will have access to the critical services and support they need to thrive.
We’re grateful to have Ford standing beside us in this work.
May is National Foster Care Month 💙
Every child deserves to feel safe, supported, and cared for. This month, we’re raising awareness for the children and families impacted by foster care and the importance of safe, nurturing homes.
Even small acts of support can make a life-changing difference.
Join us in raising awareness and see how you can make a difference in a child’s life. 🤍
We are sincerely grateful for our Hope Sponsors, Henniges, Henry Ford Health, Huntington, Ignite a Better World Foundation, Kapnick, KeyBank, Mitsubishi Electric P.E.A.C.E, PCE Systems, and RDM Associates, whose generosity helps make the Power of Possibilities Breakfast possible.
Because of their support, the voices of tomorrow are heard today, creating space for children and families to share their stories and be met with care and compassion.
Their commitment brings hope to so many.
