When Chance suddenly became a single father, he reached out for support. Through The Children’s Center’s Fatherhood Conversations, he found connection, encouragement, and tools that transformed his home. Today, he proudly shares how community helped him grow and invites other fathers to do the same.

Jayden’s Story: From First Words to New Possibilities

Jayden came to The Children’s Center at a young age when his mother sought answers and support. After being diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, he received the care he needed to grow and thrive. Today, Jayden is a student at Wayne State University—an inspiring reminder of what early support and belief can make possible.

Cheyenne’s Story: Finding Hope and Her Voice

Cheyenne faced bullying in elementary school, leaving her unsure of herself. At The Children’s Center, she found a safe space to reclaim her confidence, rediscover her smile, and embrace who she truly is. From her first visit, hope became possible again.

Ashley & Dante’s Story: A Forever Family

When Ashley and Dante adopted two girls, The Children’s Center supported the whole family—not just the children. With guidance and care, their daughters found safety, joy, and their own voices. Together, the family embraced love, growth, and a brighter future for their children and community.
