POSITION: G/L & A/R Manager
DIVISION / PROGRAM: Finance
STATUS: 40 hours
REQUIREMENTS: Must have a Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. Minimum of 5 yrs. of accounting
Experience required. This position will encompass many areas in the Finance Department. The position
will include, but not limited to overall general ledger responsibility, month end closing, reconciliation
of accounts, child welfare collections and applications, liaison between Resource Development and Finance.

DIVISION / PROGRAM: Family Bereavement
STATUS: 40 hours
REQUIREMENTS: Master’s Degree in Human Services. Licensed in the State of Michigan.
Minimum of two years experience in the assessment and treatment of children,
adolescents and their families. Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s
license, automobile insurance, and a clear driving record. Able to work with a variety
of systems and resources. Good written and verbal skills. Able to work in independent
and team modes. Knowledge of child sexual abuse, domestic violence, and/or
working with children and adolescents who present with a serious emotional
disturbance. Must have knowledge in the areas of bereavement and traumatic loss.

POSITION: Licensing Specialist
DIVISION / PROGRAM: Child Welfare Services
STATUS: 40 hours
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, Psychology, Social Work or related human service field
where 25% of the course credits are earned towards the degree preferably in licensing.
Experience working with the public and (1) year of experience working in the Foster Care
System and Child Welfare. A working knowledge of Foster Home licensing rules,
licensing statutes/rules. Strong organizational skills, able to follow Through with paperwork
and conduct original, annual, renewal and special evaluation assessments required.
Strong communication skills are required. Must have a valid driver’s license, favorable

POSITION: Coordinator
DIVISION / PROGRAM: MEI, Access, Outpatient
STATUS: 40 hours
REQUIREMENTS: Master’s Degree in Human Services. Licensed in the State of Michigan.
Minimum of 4-7 years of clinical supervisory experience in the assessment and
treatment of children, adolescents and their families. Must have reliable transportation,
a valid driver’s license, automobile insurance, and a clear driving record.
Able to work with a variety of systems and resources. Ability to resolve crisis situations
effectively and efficiently. Good written and verbal skills.
Able to supervise, train, and develop team modes. Knowledge of child sexual abuse,
domestic violence, and/or working with children and adolescents who present with a
serious emotional disturbance. Experience in assessing and providing the diagnosis for
perspective clients and their families within the community. Ability to become CAFAS reliable.

related field. Experience in foster care case work required.
Preferred knowledge or experience in working with the agency’s target
population; knowledge of social problems and concerns common to the target group;
and experience working ina community setting. Must have reliable transportation
and a valid driver’s license. Must have an ability to coordinate and perform multi-task
as it relates to providing client services. Must have an ability to establish and maintain
effective working relationship with clients, their families, foster care parents, DHS personnel
and department team members.

specific treatment goals and objectives for assigned clients.
Utilize the ICD-9 and DSM-IV to determine diagnosis. Able to work in independent
and team modes. Knowledge of child sexual abuse, domestic violence, and/or
working with children and adolescents who present with a serious emotional
disturbance. Assess and diagnosis perspective Clients and their families, within
the agency established time frames. Ability to train to become CAFAS reliable.
