POSITION: Clinician
DIVISION / PROGRAM: Behavioral Healthcare/Family Bereavement
STATUS: 40
REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree in a related human services field. Must possess current State of Michigan licensure appropriate to the degree (Ex. LMSW, LPC, TLLP, etc.). Two (2) years of experience working with children and their families in mental health setting. Must have some knowledge in the areas of bereavement and traumatic loss. POSITION: Clinician
DIVISION / PROGRAM: Early Intervention/Home Base
STATUS: 40
REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree in social work or a related human service field with current State of Michigan licensure appropriate to degree. One year of in-home and in-community experience working with children, adolescents and their families. Documentation of services and regular interface with community partners required. POSITION: Coordinator
DIVISION / PROGRAM: Systems of Care
STATUS: 40
REQUIREMENTS: MA/MSW or related degree in mental health from an accredited school and appropriate State of Michigan licensure required. Must have a minimum of five (5) years recent experience in mental health/human services field. Extensive knowledge of both traditional and non-traditional models of service delivery, coordination, and evaluation employed in the delivery of services to children and adolescents in their family. Experience with family centered and youth guided service delivery systems coupled with extensive knowledge of theories and infant/child/adolescent development. Ability to demonstrate expertise with diagnostic and assessment skills. A complete understanding and knowledge of current federal, state, and local statues relating to the delivery of services to children and families will be essential. Familiar with policies and procedures of DWCCMHA, DHS, CFS, 3rd Circuit court and knowledge of system of care principles and philosophy. POSITION: Case Manager
DIVISION / PROGRAM: Behavioral Healthcare/Case Management
STATUS: 40
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology or a related human service field with current State of Michigan licensure appropriate to degree. Three (3) years of experience working with children and their families. Knowledge of community resources and various systems operating in Wayne County. POSITION: Specialist
DIVISION / PROGRAM: Child Welfare Services/Young Adult Self-Sufficiency
STATUS: 40
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in social work with four (4) years of experience, Master’s degree preferred with two (2) years of experience working with youth, ages 16 – 21. Advanced knowledge of state and local human service systems and resources. Must be willing to meet with youth in their environment. Strong organizational and communication skills are required. Should have some knowledge of clinical diagnosis, DSM IV, treatment goals and person/family centered planning. Ability to implement or use database a must. POSITION: Case Worker
DIVISION / PROGRAM: Child Welfare Services/Foster Care
STATUS: 40
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in a related human service field with minimum of one (1) year of Foster Care experience. Must have completed CWI training. Provide training, coverage of caseloads and shadowing in both court and foster homes as needed. Must possess strong organizational, communication and computer skills. Ability to implement or use database a must. Excellent writing skills required. Willing to provide services in culturally diverse environment; ability to provide testimonies in courtroom setting. Must be able to work a flexible schedule. Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation with proof of insurance and favorable driving record required. Knowledge of Infant child development, parent infant attachment, family relationship desired. Must have valid drivers’ license and reliable transportation with proof of insurance.
